E1: 09: Journal Entry Revisions Does Not Error/Warn Upon Improper Currency Mode 3 Entry (P0911Z1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 19, 2016
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne General Ledger - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Per the 9.0 Multicurrency Processing Implementation Guide, when using Journal Entry Revisions (P0911Z1), if a user populates the Currency Mode (CCRM) field with “3”, then the user should enter both the foreign and domestic transactions amounts in the records in the grid. If the user sets CCRM to “3”, and does not enter both the foreign and domestic transaction amounts, P0911Z1 will still allow the records to save, and R09110Z can run successfully, although only the amounts entered will actually post when the batch is posted. This results in some of the expected amounts on either the AA or CA ledgers not being created by the UBE. It would be preferable to have P0911Z1 issue an error or warning under these conditions to prevent batches from then posting without all of the necessary amounts.
