76A CONTRACT WITHHOLDING CALCULATED INCORRECTLY AFTER EXEMPTION PERIOD EXPIRED. (Doc ID 2181381.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is a problem in the calculation of Contract withholding ("$S" Document) in Account Payable..
In JDE some exemption can be configured to each address book number (Supplier) in P760416A; with an Effective Date and Expiration Date.
In this case an exemption of "Contract W/H - Exempt Percentages" was set to 100% and consequently the system is not calculating  this kind of withholding.
The problem is when that "Contract W/H - Exempt percentage" for a address book (Supplier) expires, JDE calculates the withholding applying the percentage to a base calculated summarizing all document generated in the period, including those where this "Contract W/H - Exempt Percentages" was active and free of this taxes.
