Actual Behavior: Employee source of SUI is W-work, employee is not a multi states employee and has not move company. Employee resident and work tax area is 21/MD (Maryland). State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) has not calculated correctly.
Expected Behavior: SUI to calculated at .09 rate and stop at the earning limit of 8500 for MD.
Steps to produce:
1.Set up an employee with tax area resident and work state to be 21. Source of SUI is W.
2. Attach pretax DBAs to employee such as Medical, Dental, Vision
3. Create two timecards: one with 32 hours for other state (47 in this case) and 8 for MD (21)
4. Generated an interim.
5. check the Vertex before and after report and you will see the taxable gross for MD SUI is higher due to the system prorate the pretax for MD thus the SUI amount is higher.
