P059130 (Work With Group Limits) / B0700005 (Pre-Payroll DBA Calculation)
With the Enhanced PDBA Group Limits functionality there is a large gap introduced for existing implementations where more than two Group DBA annual limits are required. In the instance of 457 Deferred Comp there are three limits necessary (18K, 24K, and 36K); prior to the Group Limits enhancement releasing R059130/P059130 the system worked properly when setup to define separate Annual Limits for each DBA even though they share a common Group Limit Code 'A'. However with the current functionality there are only fields for Group Limit Annual (GADL) and Group Limit Annual 2 (GSAL), and separate limits cannot be defined for each DBA while accumulating the sum of employee deductions/benefits from all three DBAs. This requirement is shared by clients held to government regulations and auditing, and so a solution needs to be devised to address this requirement.
The "DBAs for Prior Limit" does not work in this scenario because employees do not have to reach the limit under the 18K DBA plans before moving into the 24K or 36K DBAs, but deduction/benefit amounts from all three levels must be included in the basis for limit validation.
