WS: E1: 09: No Upgrade Path for Enhanced Subledgers From World Release A9.3, A9.3.1, or A9.4 To Any EnterpriseOne Release (Doc ID 2187731.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards World General Ledger - Version A9.3 and later
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne General Ledger - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When migrating data from World A9.3, A9.3.1, or A9.4 to any EnterpriseOne release, the process to convert the data from the World F0911 - Account Ledger and F0902 - Account Balances to E1 drops records (F0902) and does not carry over all the Enhanced Subledger fields on the F0911 records, nor on the other files that hold these fields. The Enhanced Subledger fields in World (ABR1, ABT1, ABR2, ABT2, ABR3, ABT3, ABR4, ABT4) are defined as follows and are non-existent in the E1 9.2 table for the F0902.

World - A9.3, A9.3.1, A9.4
Enh Subledger Code 1 ABR1 - 12 Alpha
Enh Subledger Type 1 ABT1 - 1 Alpha
Enh Subledger Code 2 ABR2 - 12 Alpha
Enh Subledger Type 2 ABT2 - 1 Alpha
Enh Subledger Code 3 ABR3 - 34 Alpha
Enh Subledger Type 3 ABT3 - 1 Alpha
Enh Subledger Code 4 ABR4 - 34 Alpha
Enh Subledger Type 4 ABT4 - 1 Alpha

The following example is from 9.2, but applies to all releases of EnterpriseOne:
E1 - 9.2
F0911
Managerial Analysis Code 1 ABR1 - 12 String
Managerial Analysis Type 1 ABT1 - 1 Character
Managerial Analysis Code 2 ABR2 - 12 String
Managerial Analysis Type 2 ABT2 - 1 Character
Managerial Analysis Code 3 ABR3 - 12 String
Managerial Analysis Type 3 ABT3 - 1 Character
Managerial Analysis Code 4 ABR4 - 12 String
Managerial Analysis Type 4 ABT4 - 1 Character

F0902 in E1 does not have any equivalent fields for Enhanced Subledgers, it only has the Subledger Type (SBLT - 1 Character) and Subledger - G/L (SBL - 8 String)
