NOTE: Migration of ADF to JET 2/1/2022

What
JD Edwards has released a solution to convert the existing ADF-based programs to JET-based by leveraging Oracle’s JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) components..

How
ADF to JET converted programs will replicate the key capabilities as exists in the corresponding ADF application, presenting the users with a similar ease of use and understanding.

Benefits
• ADF-JET features will provide an intuitive interface that includes drag & drop, improved UI and increased visibility into the business data.
• Converting to JET will align the feature with Oracle's current technology direction
• These features will increase customer adoption, by removing the requirement to install and configure an ADF server to use it.
• Supports WebLogic or WebSphere with no additional licensing.
• Utilizes the latest Oracle UI development tool set.
• Easier adoption to mobile platforms (write once, deploy many model)
• Follows JD Edwards general migration to client-side UI architecture vs server-side UI generation.
• Empowers developers with a modular, open source toolkit.
• Aligns with other application areas such as UX One.

ADF Support
• Support existing JDE ADF applications through 2023

Oracle JD Edwards announces a new feature for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2
