Symptoms

User has reported issue with Push Button (OK) security for an application P43081 though there was no action security applied on OK button for application "P43081_W43081B_ZJDE0002". Following error is captured in the jas.log

ERROR: The "P43081_W43081B_ZJDE0002,at ER Line =149, Control Name:OK Corrective Action :The Push button Control is secured. Please check security settings.

Steps to Replicate

#1. Add Security Workbench records with Action security

S T User ID Object Name Data Item From Data Value Product Code Data Item Form Name Obj Type I A R A View Y/N Add Y/N Chg Y/N Dlt Y/N Thru Data Value Object Identifier Add Change OK/ Sel Cpy Act Upt Act Scroll to End
1 *PUBLIC *ALL N N N 0 Y N N

1 TEST_USER W43060B 43 Y Y Y 0 Y Y Y

#2. Logoff and log in back and run the application, now Select/OK option is not available in the P43081-> W43081B form

#3. Remove security as added in the point#1 above and retest the issue, now able to see Select/OK option in the P43081-> W43081B form.

To conclude this issue, for some reasons, adding any action security with "Search and Select" form/application with OK (Yes Or No) option is restricting application P43081-> W43081B to perform Updates
