E1: 05T: Time Entry with Attached Leave Requests are Causing Insert Errors in the F07620 Due to Line ID Next Numbering (Doc ID 2190806.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 29, 2018

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Employee Self-Service - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When time is entered for an employee either through standard time entry or self service time entry, if the time entered is attached to a Leave Type a record is created in the F07620 for the entry. The F07620 record contains the data item LNID- Line ID (LVLNID in the F07620). The Line ID is incremented for timecards based on an internal next number allocated in the N0701380 function. The Line ID data item allows a number of a maximum 3 digits long. The largest Line ID that can be allocated is 999. If the "Get Internal Next Number" in N0701380 allocates a number larger than 999, the record is not inserted in the F07620 and an error is written to the JDE log. The "Get Internal Next Number" parameter can exceed 999 in several instances.
