E1: XML XMLList - FORMAT VALUE="UT" Does Not Give Concise XML When Used With LIST_TYPE="JDB" (Doc ID 2194573.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to use XML Interoperability, specifically XMLList requests on tables with BLOB columns, the XMLLIST element normally produces 'concise' xml output when you use FORMAT VALUE="UT".

However, when used in conjunction with the XMLList type JDB - ie: <LIST_TYPE = "JDB"/>, the XML output is the verbose output. 

It should look like: 

<F0101><AN8>60</AN8>

Instead of:

<FORMAT NAME='F0101'><COLUMN ALIAS='AN8'>60</COLUMN>
