When we try to change the Ship-To Address of a Kit Sales Order, the Kit components show "Invalid Production Number" error. When you perform the Attach Parts/Routing program (R31410) the Line Types of the Kit components change to "T" (Text) and then you can change the Ship-To Address of the Kit Sales Order.
At the same time the Kit Component Production Number is blanked in all of the Kit Components. It appears to us that the Kit Components Production Number should be blanked when the Kit component lines are initially created at "S" (Stocked) Line Types.
Therefore, cannot process SO because of the error
