Symptoms

EDI Receiving Advice Extraction (R47072)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
EDI Receiving Advice Extraction (R47072) fails to populate the EDI Outbound Receiving Advice tables (F47076 or F47077) when there are partial In-Transit receipts against a PO line.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Records should written to the EDI Outbound Receiving Advice Tables (F47076 and F47077) when there are partial In-Transit receipts against a PO line.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Configure a two step PO receipt route.
  2. Setup a Supplier Item Relationship (P43090) for the EDI Supplier and a Stock Item with the Receipt Route populated.
  3. Create a stock Purchase Order for a quantity of 20 for the Supplier, Item and Branch Plant.
  4. Activate Receipt Routing in the PO Receipts Version (Process Tab #11=1)
  5. Partially receive a quantity of 10 into the TRAN receipt route.
  6. Partially receive the remaining quantity of 10 into the TRAN receipt route.
  7. Check PO Receiver (F43121) table. The first OV Document is for Line Number (LNID) = 1, and Number of Line = 1 (NLIN). The second OV Document is for Line Number (LNID) = 1, and Number of Line = 2 (NLIN).
  8. Submit EDI Receiving Advice Extraction (R47072) with data selection on the Purchase Order with two partial receipts on Line 1. A blank PDF is returned.
  9. Access the Outbound EDI Receiving Advice Inquiry (P47076) application. Search for newly created records. Notice that no outbound records were created by the R47072 UBE.
  10. Perform the same test with a full receipt, not a partial. PDF is not Blank.
  11. Access the Outbound EDI Receiving Advice Inquiry (P47076) application. Search for newly created records. Notice that outbound records were created by the R47072 UBE.
