E1: 03B: Draft Due Date Changes to Prior Periods Requires PBCO Constant Checked Due to G/L Date Validation in Work With Drafts – Draft Entry (P03B602) (Doc ID 2207004.1)

When using the Work With Drafts - Draft Entry application (P03B602) to change the Draft Due Date (VLDT) for an existing draft record, upon saving the change a validation of the G/L Date field (DGJ) is done even though no changes are done to this field. Because of this, if the G/L date for the applicable draft record is in a prior period, the PBCO GA constant must be active to allow for the change (if it is not active a hard error is presented). An enhancement to allow for changes to Draft Due Date on existing draft records without validating the G/L date field is being requested for a future software release. This would likely entail the creation of a new application along the line of the existing Speed Status Change application (P03B114) that would allow for changes to Draft Due Date entries on existing draft records.
