PCW51 Style Item Master

The client's Business like any other in the Apparel Industry will add thousands of new SKUs every year. They will all be added to one, or maybe more, Collections. The existing Apparel Management functionality only allows for the adding of Items through "Work With Collections" PCW07/WCW07A --> PCW08/WCW08A "Collection Detail" --> "Style Item Collection Detail" PCW081/WCW081A. The problem is that this starts with a Collection and works backwards to the Item.

What client needs is the more natural process whereby the user is prompted for the Collection after/during adding an Item. So, for example in P4101 or PCW51.System should allow for a screen like the PCW08/WCW08A "Collection Detail" to be called FROM an Item in a variety of different screens. In PCW51 & P4101 there should be an option to go automatically to this screen so that ALL new Items are added to a Collection. In this way Collection Management can be integrated with the Product Data Management routines instead of being an afterthought.
