Several employees, not all, receive a Commuter Compensation. A few of these employees work in two different states during a work week, for example NY and PA. A solution is needed to do the following:
1 Have the system determine when the employee changes work states and when he/she does
2 Calculate the appropriate Commuter Compensation DBA that corresponds to that work tax area
The closest solution is on the DBA - Advanced DBA Screen. If a DBA is set to calc for all employees, there is a field that can be populated with the Work Tax Area. When the system sees that the employee works in that specific work tax area, the DBA will calculate.
This solution will not work because NOT ALL employees are subject to this Commuter Compensation DBA.
This is a request to modify the above solution so that it will recognize a subset of employees and not just all. Adding an additional field on the Adv DBA Screen - Calculate for All Employees - to further qualify a subset of employees would be ideal.
