E1: SVM: Server Manager 9.2.x Randomly Crashes with Websphere Application Server (Doc ID 2216099.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 10, 2017

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After upgrading Server Manager on, the SVM Console crashes randomly and an error is returned in the browser upon refresh.

This happens on a Websphere based Server Manager Console. This did not happen before the Tools upgrade to 9.2.x.

1) On browser side:

Error 500: com.ibm.websphere.servlet.session.UnauthorizedSessionRequestException: SESN0008E: A user authenticated as anonymous has attempted to access a session owned by jde_admin.

2) In e1agent_0.log:

Nov 16, 2016 10:29:53 AM com.jdedwards.mgmt.targets.mgmtconsole.ManagementConsole
INFO: Unable to determine the managed instances contained within the managed home D:\jde_home_1\SCFMC on host PITDEP.pitairport.com; An exception occurred. The managed home will be required during its next heartbeat.

Restarting the SVM Console makes the issue disappear for a while.
