Symptoms
When a sales order is entered (via P4210), the line can be split into multiple lines due to different lot codes. Included in the Price History (P4074) is a Detached Adjustment (Adjustment Control 6 as defined in P4071).
-The 2% allowance is multiplied by the order quantity in each lot code and rounded.
The pricing for the Detached Adjustment is a trade discount given as off invoice allowance less 2% Allowance (cash allowance in lieu of discount). The result of this is rounded to two digits. However, as the lines get split multiple times by partial shipments a rounding issue occurs which impacts invoicing (R42565).
Is it possible is to utilize the “Rounding Adjustment” in the Adjustment control code in the Price Adjustment definition program P4071? W do not know how to create a Rounding Rule in the Price Adjustment Detail Revisions program (P4072).
