We would like an option to always prorate an amount even if the billing totals for the period are less than the monthly rate. For example, if a piece of equipment has only been on the job for one week when the monthly billing is generated a billing will get calculated even if the billing totals for the period are less than the monthly rate.
This could be achieved by adding an additional ProRate Code, such as C or A.
Prorate C | Location H: Use Hierarchy until the monthly rate is reached.
Prorate C | Location C: Bills prorated rate, regardless of duration or amount threshold.
The billing that would get calculated should be at the prorated rate since it is the current location. To Bill at the higher rate, do not use C Prorate code, rather use Prorate Y, N, or H.
