Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

E1 9.2 / P48013 Work Order Entry
            P3111 Work Order Parts List

When changing (increasing) the Work Order Quantity on the Work Order Header, the system is updating the quantity on the existing line on the parts list
which already has an issued quantity (P31113 has been performed, item has been issued).

This functionality is creating problems with negative availability with specific lots and serialized items, instead of accurately reflecting demand against the primary location.

Requested functionality: When updating the work order quantity on a work order in which issues (P31113) have already been transacted, the system
should update (or create) a new uncommitted line on the Parts List (on previously issued components).

Setup includes:
1. P48013, Processing Option tab 5 (Validation), Option 1 is equal to 1 (update quantities and dates when changing the WO Header).
2. P3009, Manufacturing Constants, Commitment Control is equal to Primary Location, Soft Commit at Parts List.
3. Branch Plant Constants, Commitment is equal to 3.
