E1: 32: Upward Referencing in C Rule not Working with Generic Branch Plant (Doc ID 2231668.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 13, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using a blank (generic) branch plant in Configured Item Segments and Assembly Inclusion rules, if the C assembly inclusion rule uses the Segment Item Left to reference a parent configured item, the P3210 will not properly validate the rule. Using the same setup where a branch plant is used in Configured Item Segments and Assembly Inclusion Rules, the P3210 works as expected.
