E1: 49: Pricing Uom In OT Is Causing Extended Cost To Be Incorrectly Calculated (Doc ID 2232329.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When entering an ST/OT where TMS is activated for these order types, the pricing UOM is from the ST is not defaulting in to the OT. The OT is retrieving the pricing UOM from the item master which is causing the extended cost on the OT to incorrectly calculate. For example the item master pricing UOM is KG and the cost of the item is 8.443. The user enters an ST order and PUOM =MT reviews the OT order the pricing UOM is KG the unit cost is 8443.00 extended cost is 287,990,730.00 which is incorrect should be 287,990.730 the same extended cost that is on the ST order. The only way to achieve this is to have the pricing UOM from the ST default down to the OT or to fix the calculation of the extended price to convert the unit price from TM to KG then multiply it by the quantity in KG to get the correct extended cost.
