Goal

9.1

Customer is using WMS with LPN in food distribution. They replenish, pick and ship by expiration date. They set the fixed pick location to allow putaway (F4100.APUT = “Y”) and the fixed pick location has capacity to accommodate more pallet (LPN). When the receiver receive a new pallet(LPN) into the system they need putaway to perform an expiration date comparison between the new pallet vs the existing inventory in reserve location for the item. If the existing inventory in reserve location has more shelf life than the newly received pallet, putaway need to direct the new pallet to the fixed pick location. However, if the existing inventory in reserve location has less shelf life than the newly received pallet, putaway need to direct the new pallet to the reserve locations.
How can that be achieved ?
