E1: GRID: Watchlist Indicator Keeps Spinning or Yellow Exclamation and Watchlist Fails to Update (Doc ID 2250615.1)

Symptoms

Symptom 1: All Watchlists Keep Spinning and Fail to Render on Tools Release 9.2.1.* or Higher

On EnterpriseOne Application Release E920 and Tools Release 9.2.1.X or higher, after user created a Watchlist (personal or shared), when user access the Watchlist dropdown menu, user is able to see the Watchlist but it keeps on spinning and the results does not render.

     

The following "AIS Login Failure" error can be seen in the web browser console:

     

 

Symptom 2: Watchlist Stay in 'Pending Update' and/or 'Update in Progress' status after Upgrade to Tools 9.2.0.8

Since upgraded tools for JAS from 9.1.4.5 to 9.2.0.8, Watchlist status says 'Update Pending' and/or 'Update In Progress' and stay like this forever.
Happen to all browser type, all users, all machines and all environments.
Issue goes away if downgrade to 9.2.0.5

      

 

Symptom 3: Indicator Spinning or Yellow Exclamation, Watchlist Fails to Update when using Weblogic Cluster with AIS Login Failure and HTTP response code: 403 in e1root.log

The watchlist is not being updated when a user logs on to a Weblogic HTML cluster. Using a standalone instance (without cluster) it works, if the user logs on directly, without Oracle HTTP Server it works too. If they use IP instead of the server name in the cluster it works too. For the user, the watchlist menu loading indicator is spinning for some watchlists and warning (exclamation point in yellow triangle) for others.  The following messages are present in the HTML Server e1root log.
