E1: 41: JP410000 BSSV not Retrieving DD Default Values (Doc ID 2252684.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 17, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 9.2 version, BSSV
Tools Release: 9.2
Program: JP410000 - Inventory Manager (processInventoryItem) BSSV

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When there are default data dictionary values setup for data items in the F4101, these values are not being picked up by the JP410000 - Inventory Manager (processInventoryItem) BSSV. We have some standard fields on the Additional Systems Info that have default data dictionary values in our base software - Ex: Order Policy Code (OPC), Planning Code (MPST) and Fixed or Variable Leadtime (MRPP). When a new item is created using the JP410000 BSSV, these values are not updated in the F4101. This causes the application to error when inquiring on the new item created, as blank is not a valid value on these UDC tables.
