Symptoms

With Commitment Method set to '1' (Location With Most Quantity) in Item Branch and surplus inventory across Primary and Secondary Locations/Lot; when a Sales Order is created with defaulted non-blank primary and lot value, due to insufficient inventory in Primary Location, the Sales Order does get split and it backorders the quantity which is not available. System is Hard Committing the quantity within Non-Blank Primary Location/Lot and is not reviewing the inventory across all the Locations as per Commitment Method set.
