E1: MOBJ: "Allow RTF Text" Not Selected Does Not Hide Formatting Toolbar in Media Object Window for Non-ActiveX Controls (HTML) Editor
(Doc ID 2261081.1)
Last updated on JUNE 12, 2020
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In a custom form, an embedded Media Object control is added in the form. In Form Design Aid (FDA), the Media Object control properties, have the option "Allow RTF Text" set as Unselected. According to <Document 2187489.1>, if the "Allow RTF Text" option is not selected, then the formatting toolbar will not display in the Media Object window when adding a text attachment.
When ActiveX control is disabled (that is, SupportActiveXIE is set to FALSE in JAS.INI file), this is not working, the formatting toolbar is still displaying in the Media Object window. This option only works when SupportActiveXIE=TRUE that is using ActiveX control and will not work for HTML Editor when SupportActiveXIE=FALSE.
