E1: 43: Stocked Item Reorder Point (R437002) Exchange Rate For Domestic Currency Order (Doc ID 2262844.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 06, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement and Subcontract Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Suggested Reorder Item (P4371) and Batch Order Generator (R437002) are populating the exchange rate field (CRR) in the order requisition (OR) or (OP) generated details, with a value of 1.000. This value is not expected as the base and foreign currencies are equal and no exchange rate is either entered or required.  This behavior is different to other order generators such as P43011 and P3411, where the CRR field is left blank.  Because of this, when P43060-PO Generator is set for consolidation, this is not happening, as the program requires that if working in a multi-currency environment the currency code and exchange rate must also match between requisitions so that the resulting purchase order header and detail have matching values for consolidation to occur.
