E1: 90CG: P90CG501 Manage Case Changing the Serial Number is not Changing Customer Number (Doc ID 2264939.1)

In P90CG501 manage case, when changing the serial number in an existing case, it retains the same old customer number for billing or creating service work order.

1. Open P17500. Add a new case for serial A. Customer number is automatically populated. Save the record. This is P90CG501 Manage Case.
2. Open again the case and change the the serial number. Customer number is not changing in respect to the new serial number.
3. Clear the customer number. Press save changes. It will be refreshed with the correct one.
4. Also, open the billing tab and notice the old value is kept for the Site Number. This is wrong. The Site Number should be in sync with the new customer number.
