E1: E1PAGE: Classic E1Pages Downloads and Unzip on Every Sign-In Causing Delays (Doc ID 2265196.1)

Symptoms

This is specific to 9.2 release Classic E1Pages.

Performance analysis was completed for UXOne features and it was determined that under heavy user load there were the following errors in the JAS logs:

Based on these log entries with high user load, there was contention for disk resources, because the same folder/file was being accessed by multiple user sessions during the download and unzip of the Classic E1Pages.

It was then determined, that this download and unzip was happening EVERY time a user logged in. Regardless of the fact that the E1Pages were exactly the same, they had not been changed or updated in the system.

Another symptom is that the Classic Pages sometimes do not load, giving no error, but a blank screen.
