Customer is into flight catering business and using MRP for their Production, Material planning and Inter/Intra company transfer.
Current Practice: MRP run on 24 hrs bucket / one day demand - from Forecast / per day flight booking passenger details.
This generates demand for kitchen for full day, which is a huge volume due to huge production quantity.

The material requirement at the Finished good level is based on Menu (Multi Level BOM), attached to each flight and class.
He needs a break by flight departure schedule (i.e 00:00 hrs to 08:00 hrs, 08:01 hrs - 16:00 hrs & 16:01 - 23:59 hrs), so all the menus attached to the flights in that time period get exploded and displayed in demand shift based on schedule.
Requirement is to split the demand by hourly/shift basis ( eg: 8 hrs / 12 hrs or A, B, C shift) for full 24 hrs bucket.
