Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Case Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The Serial Number is the Primary in the Equipment / FA Constants.
When having the same Serial Number (ASID) for several equipment and a case is created for one equipment, if the user clicks Find in P17500, form W17500A, the application P17011S, form W17011SA is called. The user can select one equipment and the grid of P17500 shows one record but then, if the Find button is clicked again, application P17011S, form W17011SA pops out again. Every time the user clicks Find button, the system calls P17011S, form W17011SA and if a selection is made, another record is inserted into the grid of the P17500. If the user does not select the equipment from P17011S, form W17011SA but tries to close the pop-up window, the error ID 0626 - "Asset Number Invalid - Input" is displayed in the header of P17500 application.

Customer created a watch list to filter the number of open cases in  17500. When you click on the watch list icon (Flag) it only shows 3 open calls in the watch list, however the number of records displayed are 19. This happens when there are duplicate serial numbers.
