E1: 76M: Option To Save Withholding Percentage With 4 Decimals In P76M003 (Doc ID 2271687.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 22, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable - Version XE and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When saving a value in the Withholding Percentage field (alias M76WPER) in the Work with Withholding Percentage (P76M003) application for Mexican localization, the application allows entry of a percentage with up to 4 (four) decimals. However, only a percentage with two decimals is stored. Mexico has a withholding percentage of 16 and 2/3 % which, when truncated, becomes 10.67. This results in a little extra withholding being calculated than what should be calculated.

Clients are requesting the possibility to enter a withholding percent with four decimals. If there were more decimal places the withholding amount will be more accurate.
