When any ESU delivers new specs for tables, there are usually associated special instructions which requires to generate the indexes or run a table conversion program shipped along with the ESU. If an existing table has been modified to add 1 or more columns, then we should have a mechanism to add these new columns in a very simple way like running a SQL Query instead of running a table conversion for the same. It could be on the same lines of a *Alter program that is used in the newer upgrade process. Alternatively we could have a new button in OMW or a separate program that can add the extra columns. This enhancement would ideally simplify the execution of special instructions for tables.
