E1: 51: Threshold % Processing Option Functionality on R51800
Last updated on JUNE 12, 2017
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Costing - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The Threshold % Complete (alias = PC), on the Job Master (P51006) is used for two standard methods of computation (i.e. Methods of computation P (Percent) and Q (Quantities)), in determining when to calculate and record projected final values for the HA/HU ledger types.
When the calculated account percent complete is greater than that the Threshold % Complete on the Job Master (P51006), then the system will project the final values for that account, and will record those values to the account in the HA/HU ledger types in the F0902 Account Balances table.
This is different from the Threshold % defined in processing option #6 on the R51800-Profit Recognition Build program which is used only when running profit recognition. If this processing option is populated, that percentage is compared to the overall percent complete of the entire job. If the percent complete on the job exceeds the Threshold % in processing option #6 on the R51800, then the job profit is recognized. If the percent complete on the job is less than the Threshold % in processing option #6, then no job profit is recognized.
BUG 22991693-WHEN THE CALC. PC IS LOWER THAN THRESHOLD THE SYSTEM STILL CREATES JE , added functionality so that if the Threshold % in processing option #6 on the R51800 - Profit Recognition Build, was blank, then the system used the Threshold % Complete from the Job Master (P51006) if it was populated.
Users frequently populate the Threshold % Complete on the Job Master (P51006), but they do not want this Threshold % Complete to default into processing option #6 on the R51800 when that processing option is blank.
