E1: 42: R47131 Releases Backorder and Commits When Changing Order Dates or Descriptions in Order Detail

Symptoms

Create a backorder. After, on hand quantity is increased by inventory adjustment or order receipt. Next run R47131 to change order detail information like order dates and/or descriptions of backorder line. P4210 version set in R47131 processing option is that hard commit processing option is turned off. However, R47131 releases backorder and commit order quantity. Backorder quantity (SOBK) is cleared and shippable quantity (SOQS) is increased in the order detail line (F4211).

Requesting the ability to prevent R47131 to release backorder and/or re-commit when changing non-related fields like description and/or price effective date..
