E1: 32: P3293 MESSAGE OR RECORD LOCK TO PREVENT 2 USERS FROM INQUIRING AND CHANGING
Last updated on JUNE 23, 2017
Applies to:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurator - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
-Currently there is no record reservation lock when 2 users access "Assembly Inclusion - Assembly Inclusion Edit Group Revisions" P3293
If 2 people access the same item rule base for example, and person A adds a line in a rule then saves and then person B saves it will corrupt the rules.
Acceptable behavior is for a record reserve feature to be present such as in other screens
-This may affect configuration accuracy and therefore affect manufacturing costs. 3 people maintain assembly inclusion rules and 8 check the output of configuration.
