Symptoms

Customer Service Sales Order Entry (P42101)
Basket and Order Repricing (R42750)

When Display Tab Processing Option #5 (Hide Closed Details Lines) is set to 1 (Hide Closed Detail Lines) on the Customer Service Sales Order Entry (P42101) program, canceled Lines created by the Order Reprice (R42750) are not suppressed from the Edit Sales Order Screen (P42101 Form W42101D).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Setup an order level advanced pricing adjustment that calculates and adds a line for an excise tax at the end of the sales order.
  2. Setup a version of Customer Service Sales Order Entry (P42101) with Display Tab Processing Option #5 (Hide Closed Details Lines) set to 1 (Hide Closed Detail Lines)
  3. Makes sure the Customer Service Sales Order Entry (P42101) Version calls a Sales Order Entry (P4210) version that has Process Tab Option #4 (Auto Order Repricing) set to 1 (Use auto order repricing)
  4. Create a Sales Order for 1 or more items that will qualify for the order level price adjustment and save the order.
  5. Check Work with Submitted Jobs to see that Basket and Order Repricing (R42750) was launched and run successfully.
  6. Go back to the sales order and enter the Edit Sales Order Screen (P42101 Form W42101D).
  7. Notice the line for taxes was added to the order by the Basket and Order Repricing (R42750) program.
  8. Make a change to the requested date for the item and save the order with changes.
  9. Check Work with Submitted Jobs to see that Basket and Order Repricing (R42750) was launched again.
  10. Go back to the sales order and enter the Edit Sales Order Screen (P42101 Form W42101D).
  11. Notice the first line for taxes and a new line for taxes was calculated and added to the order by the Basket and Order Repricing (R42750) program.
  12. Every time a change is made to the order, the Basket and Order Repricing (R42750) program cancels the previous tax line and adds a new one.
  13. None of the canceled tax lines are suppressed from the grid of the Edit Sales Order Screen (P42101 Form W42101D).
