Symptoms
Inventory Adjustments (P4114)
When a user enters an adjustment with no quantity and a negative amount, for a location with no lot number, the program is automatically populating a new lot number
The purpose of the adjustment is to get rid of the residual amount balance in the Item Ledger (P4111) in the location when the quantity of the item has been reduced to 0.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Enter an Inventory Adjustment (P4114) for Item A with no quantity and a negative amount, for the location with no lot number.
- The Inventory Adjustment (P4114) automatically populates a new lot number even though one was not entered by the user.
