Goal
Currently, Gender (DD Item: SEX) is a required field in the Employee Master Personal Information form. The application is designed to error with a 0003-Blanks Invalid error if the field is not populated. There is a request to add a processing option to the P0801 or P0801EMP that will allow the field to be optional. The processing option would be similar to the one on the P08901 (Dependent/ Beneficiary Information). There should be a standard way to allow the gender field to be optional for employees in the Employee Master.
