Missing Paper Clip
After moving from Websphere Application Server (WAS) to Weblogic Server (WLS), the paper clip icon is missing on media object attachments.
The following errors are seen in the e1root log:
This issue occurs when ActiveX control is disabled, that is "Use ActiveX Controls" is set to "false" or "OLEONLY". (You can check this setting in Server Manager, under Web Runtime section)
Convert RTF to HTML
Another issue experienced is that user is unable to convert RTF media objects to HTML in P98MOHTM or from Media Object Viewer. After clicking on the checkbox to convert, nothing happens. If the user click again on the same open application, the following error message is displayed.
"An error occurred in parent dispatcher."
- When using old Media Object Viewer, blank screen after clicking check box to convert RTF to HTML.
- When using Enhanced Media Object Viewer, nothing happens after selecting Yes for conversion
- P98MOHTM conversion process will stay at 0% without making any progress
