E1: 12: Initial Term of Apportionment Q Puts September 30 in 4th Quarter (Doc ID 2302161.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 29, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9.1 to 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The issue is the date range used for Initial of Apportionment Code Q (Mid-Quarter).  The system is set up in a way that September 30 is considered part of quarter 4.  This should not be the case.  According to the Master Tax Guide, Quarter 4 should start on October 1.  This would make September 30 part of quarter 3.
