E1: 49: Enhancement Request - Scheduled Pick Date Should Follow the Depot Calendar When the Route Calender is Also Set

(Doc ID 2305551.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 25, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

As per actual design of the application, the Route calendar is used for the calculation of the Promised Pick Date. If no route calendar is found, the system uses the Branch/Plant calendar instead (in 9.0 the Depot Calendar will be fetched before the Branch/Plant Calendar).
When route calendar is set the scheduled pick date should not follow the route calendar but only the Depot calendar or branch plant calendar. The promised ship date alone should follow the route calendar. In this way the system would use the lead days set in routing entry and calculate the correct date as per the working days for warehouse persons to set pick date and then as per the route calendar to set the ship date.

This would be a great solution to achieve certain day shipment without affecting the lead time for shipment preparation.
