E1: XMLP: Report Definition Output Created with Different File Name Formats Between Environments (With vs Without Sequence Numbers) (Doc ID 2305997.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 24, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Report Definition Outputs are created with different file name formats in two environments although both environments are using same tools release level. RD Output files which are stored in directory have sequence number appended in the end of the file name in one environment but sequence number does not appear in the file name of RD outputs of other environment. Sequence number is added for reports definitions even if they are not configured for bursting . This sequence number keeps growing unless the enterpriseone services are restarted.Starting with tools release this sequence number is not expected .

For example :

In UAT environment the file name format is  <RD_NAME>_<RD_LANG>_<UBE_JOBNUMBER>_<RD_JOBNUMBER>_<SEQ_NO>.<OUTPUT_TYPE>

In PRODUCTION  environment the file name format is  <RD_NAME>_<RD_LANG>_<UBE_JOBNUMBER>_<RD_JOBNUMBER>.<OUTPUT_TYPE>.  Sequence number is missing .
