E1: 34A: Inbound/Outbound of Obsolete Item Within JDE E1/ASCP Using Batch Program R34A1000/R34A1500 (Doc ID 2312463.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

When Batch Program R34A1000-VCP Outbound Processor is run over a Stocking Type 'M' Item having a valid demand, it creates a demand in ASCP. If the Stocking Type of the Item is changed to 'O' Obsolete and Batch Program R34A1500-VCP Inbound Processor is run, it creates a ST record within Table F4201-Sales Order Header for the Obsolete Item.

With Batch Program R34A1500 set to run R3411 automatically, the record inserted within P3411 record errors out. With this process, system is unnecessary creating records in F4201 and consuming the Next Numbers. Require a functionality such that R34A1000 or R34A1500 do not pass information associated with Obsolete Item from JDE E1 to ASCP and vice-versa.
