Symptoms

User is getting error SQL Exception error while accessing on P48201_Exxxxxxx.
The below error messages in jas logs.

07 Apr 2017 13:15:37,711 [SEVERE] - [JDBJ] SQLException occured in the SQLPhysicalConnection.select():Auto: | Table or View Name = F40039 - Data Source[0] = Business Data - PROD | Table or View Name = F4801 - Data Source[1] = Business Data - PROD | Table or View Name = F4801T - Data Source[2] = Business Data - PROD com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The incoming request has too many parameters. The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters. Reduce the number of parameters and resend the request.
07 Apr 2017 13:15:37,711 [SEVERE] - [JAS] JDBCProxy.jdbcProxy(): JDBj database operation failed | UserName : Xxxxxxx, Environment : Xxxxx, User Role : *ALL com.xxxx.database.base.JDBException: [SQL_EXCEPTION_OCCURRED] An SQL exception occurred: The incoming request has too many parameters. The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters. Reduce the number of parameters and resend the request..

ERROR:

JAS_MSG346: JAS database failure: [SQL_EXCEPTION_OCCURED]
...The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters.

STEPS:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In P48022 fill in the unit number, choose a correct category code (like 100), check display children, fill in status from * to 61. Press find.
  2. The error appears:

    JAS_MSG346: JAS database failure: [SQL_EXCEPTION_OCCURED]
    ...The server supports a maximum of 2100 parameters.

    Forms used P48022 W48022A or P48201 W48201F.
