E1: 32: Smart Part Reference To An Item Without an Item Master Record Does Not Return "Item Branch Record Does Not Exist" Error

When defining configurator smart parts via P Assembly Inclusion Rules (P3293), when a sales order is created for the parent configured item, if the smart part formula returns a value in which the an Item Master record exists (in F4101) but a Branch/Plant (B/P) record does not (in F4102), the system returns an "Item Branch Record Does Not Exist" error in the Message Center of the Configured Item Revisions (P3210). This error stops the configuration from being processed until the inputs to the smart part formula yields a value that has valid Item Master and Item B/P records. However, if no Item Master AND no Item B/P record exist, no error is returned. This does not seem correct as the system validates against the Item B/P file (F4101). The same error should return if no Item Master or Item B/P records exist.
