The Payroll Exception report, R053191 does not consider when a wage adjustment or Overtime calculation is done and provides an incorrect error of "Below Minimum Rate" if the adjusted rate is below the value in the processing option.
For example, if there is a rate of $8.10 in the minimum rate processing option and an employee goes through an overtime calculation for the premium portion of their overtime, a new rate is calculated and it is below the minimum rate value, the Payroll Exception Report shows a Below Minimum Rate error. This is incorrect as the rate was generated due to an adjustment and the employee's total hours have already been considered.
This happens when using piece rate as well. When using piece rate, having this error does not provide the ability to determine if the employee is over or under packing pieces.
Not having the report determine if the rate is an adjustment causes a hardship because now the user has to review each employee record to determine if the error message is correct.
Requesting that the report has the ability to determine if an overtime calculation or wage adjustment was done instead of reading each rate for face value and then throwing an error.
