E1: 34 MRP Time Series Doubling Supply Quantity For Co-Products (Doc ID 2320704.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2018

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Requirements Planning - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

MRP Time Series doubling supply quantity for Co-Products however the MRP Messages are for correct quantity and P4021 Supply and Demand Inquiry shows the correct quantity.

• Loss of functionality – duplicated data in Time Series is causing confusion when planning demand using MRP.

• Sequence of events - When process work orders created for items containing co-products using P48013 the co-products and configured quantities are appearing correctly for the work order when viewed using P3111P. When the R3483 is then ran to process MRP data then the P3414 Time Series used to view the supply quantity for the co-product item is double the quantity from the work order (same unit of measure used). For example a workorder where the Co-Product quantity is 10000KG will display 20000KG in the time series. When the same item is viewed using the P4021 Supply/Demand the data is correct (i.e. displays the same quantity as the workorder co-product)
