E1:17: P1721 UNIT PRICE EXTENDED PRICE NOT CORRECT WITH ADV PRICING (Doc ID 2321665.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When we try to change the start and end of the contract detail line in P1721, the unit price fetched from Advanced pricing do not prorate to the correct amount. For example if the advanced price set for one year for an equipment is £365 (i.e. £1 per day) and the the contract detail line added for 229 days out of 365, the unit price shown by P1721 is 229.04 instead of 229.

This create issues while raising the invoices to the customer. With per line shoeing £.04 extra, customer can end up paying more if there are 5000 lines in a contract. This is very serious issue.

For replicating the issue, you can create advance price set up for one equipment = 365 pounds for the one year period starting mid month. and then try creating contract for 229 days in contract details
