(Doc ID 2322046.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 30, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Receivable - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Address Book Next Numbers are used in BSSV response even if no AB record is created and therefore AB numbers are skipped. An error is obtained when running the BSSV  JP010020 for certain parameters:

<message>DESCRIPTION: Invalid arguments are passed to business function :PhonesMBF(Phones MBF): Parameter szPhoneNumber's length is longer than 20
RESOLUTION: Enter valid data.</message>
<messagePrefix>Phone Record Sent -2</messagePrefix>
</e1Messages>

This error should have stopped the system to generate ab AB number (<entityId>).

When the phone number is corrected to have bellow 20 characters the AB is created but using an AB number higher that the one existing in the response for the error. In this way the previous AB number is lost.
