Symptoms

The character length defined for Data Dictionary (DD) item RTAM (Amount or Rate) in Employee DBA Instructions (P050181) is 9 characters with 4 decimals (99999.9999).

This length is not sufficient to support the Angolan Currency of Kwanza which extends up to 6 characters, 523698.125.

The program returns to 99999.9999 if more than 9 characters are entered.
